Aborsyon: Huwag gawing Solusyon

Sa wakas ako ay buo na!
Sa ilang linggong pamamalagi sa sinapupunan mo ina,
Sobrang saya't ako'y hindi na makapaghintay pa,
Ilang linggo na lang ang natitira't ako'y iluluwal mo na.

Pero bakit tila ako lang ata ang masaya?

Napapansin ko kasing lagi kayong nag-aaway ni ama,

Sa tuwing nag-uusap kayong dalawa,

“ipa abort nalang natin yan” ang lagi kong naririnig sa kanya,

“natatakot ako” sabay iyak ang lagi mong sagot sa mungkahi nya.

Problema ba'y dulot ko ng malaman n'yong ako'y nabuo?

Aborsyon ba ang solusyon ninyo upang takasan ito?

Pagkakataon ang hinihingi makita lang mundo ninyo,

Pero bakit parang nahihirapan kayong ibigay ito?

Mungkahi ni ama'y huwag bigyang pansin,

Makalabas lang ako't kayo ay ngingiti rin,

Makikita nyo ang gandang aking angkin,

Tiyak kayoy mag-aagawan sa akin.

Ina! Ako'y tulungan nyo!

Tabletang ininom mo'y balat ko'y napapaso,

Mali atang bitamenang ibinigay ni ama sa iyo,

Sapagkat katawan ko'y unti-unti ng naglalaho.

Ito na ba ang mungkaheng dati ay ayaw mo?

Isip mo'y biglang nagbago at sinunod ito,

Sa ganitong paraan nyo ba tatakasan ang obligasyon nyo?

Kahit pumatay kayo? basta't para sa kapakanan ninyo?

Mahal na mahal ko kayong dalawa ni ama,

Kahit pa man buhay ko'y inyo ng pinag walang bahala,

Sana kayo ay magiging masaya sa desisyong inyong ginawa,

Ligtas na kayo sa gali't kahihiyan na maidudulot ko sana.

Aking pagka-wala'y huwag ipag-alala,

Sa kabilang buhay ako ay magiging masaya kapiling nya,

Desisyon n'yo ngayon 'wag nang ulitin pa,

Buhay ng kapatid ko sa aki'y huwag igaya.

Nanking Store

The Nanking Store is a story of a couple named Linda and Peter who at their first year of marriage were happy and everything to them were almost perfect. They live in Bajada after they got married. Their happiness didn't stay too long in their lives because of the problem that occured. Linda cannot produce a child even after many years of being a wife of Peter, some says that because she had an appendectomy when she was still single. While everybody in their town agreed that it was Linda's fault, some people also doubted Peter's virility. Due to that problem, Linda decided to move to Sta. Ana while Peter stay in Bajada. The problem was more complicated than this, Peter's father was the sole survivor of the Zhin family. He had a brother but he died when still young so the family of Peter was therefore in danger of dying out for the bloodline to vanish form the world.
Peter devote his time to Nanking Store after his father died and give him the authority to manage it. Linda also working to that store, where she acted as a cashier and sometimes she were look like one of the saleslady. She lived pretty much like the three stay-in salesgirls and the young mestizo driver. Her mother-in-law treated her as if she's not a wife of Peter. She scolded and slapped in public which Linda didn't expect.
After a couple of days, rumors spread out that Peter was starting to go out date with a bisayan girl who worked in a club. Peter who did not even try to hide his affair with the girl because he occasionally bring the girl to a very expensive restaurant in Matina that's somewhat far from Sta. Ana.
Finally, Peter produced a son from a bisayan girl. People in town concluded that it was not Peter who had a  problem of not producing a child, it was Linda.
 Family of Peter acted like they don't know everything about the bisayan girl and the son of Peter but really they does.All in all people were happy for Peter that his prestige rose again. Peter began to regained his old self knowing that he is not a bad stock.If Peter felt that way, Linda felt opposite since it was proven that Peter is not a bad stock, meaning to say Linda has the problem of not producing a child.
Months passed Peter had his second son. It is no longer new stir in the community. What created a minor stir was that it was late at night when Peter dropped by with his eldest son whom he carried piggyback.
Then Peter died in a car accident in the Buhangin Diversion Road.
After the burial of Peter, Linda was told by her mother-in-law to go away from Nanking Store but Linda didn't obey what her mother-in-law wanted her to do. After a month, Linda was still working at the Nanking store and she's taking over Peter's work.
Linda and her mother-in-law was not always in good terms that they will even hurt each other feelings which Linda decided to go away from Nanking store and that she will never showed her face again in Sta.Ana.
Several months had passed by, the transformation of Linda Fascinated the entire community. She was getting back to her old self, and aside from it, many people noticed the growing of her body.
They concluded that Linda is pregnant and they suspected that the father of the child that Linda carried is the shy mestizo driver. Linda finally left the place with a smile on her lips.



The story has a little logic for me because how could Peter and Linda didn't produce even a single child when they had their own child in their respective partner after they separate?

What I like in this story is that, it shows that no matter how big your problem your facing in, no one can help you aside from God, is your self alone. No one in this world can help you the way your self can do. So instead of asking for a help from other, you better do it on your own.
